Niseko is a small town located in the Abuta district on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. This place is known for extreme snowfall and endless possibilities for freeriding. Area is dominated by the magnificent volcano Mount Yotei. In 2007, Niseko was named as the world's No. 2 snowiest resort with an average annual total of 15.11 meters. First place in this comparison occupied resort Mt. Baker Ski Area in the US state of Washington with 16.28 meters.
